The bass guitar and composer "Pitiman" presents for first time IRON BASSMAN a reggae album without borders made between Jamaica and Spain

After a long career in the world of the reggae, Carlos Blázquez "Pitiman" presents IRON BASSMAN, his first personal project with a collection of 15 songs which describe a reggae album without borders.

The Album is neither stylistic considering that the albummixes different styles within of reggae music ( Lovers, Dub, Roots, Dancehall or New Roots), nor physical as the album counts on musicians’ collaboration from Jamaica, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Santander and Barcelona despite of being recorded in Banyan Studios located in Port Antonio, the Jamaican town where Pitiman lives a lustrum ago.

The album with songs such as "Grita Rebelion", "With You", "Live and let Live" or the one that gives the name to the album “Iron Bassman” was mixed and mastered by Roberto Sánchez at the A- lone Ark Muzik Studio in Cueto ( Spain).

“Iron Bassman” makes reference to the strength of Pitiman as a musician since he started playing bass guitar almost three decades, when being only 15 years old, counts on Roberto Sánchez, Rampalion, Sr. Wilson, Julen "Trepi" Trepiana, Bobo Shanty, Tamika Blakey, Javi Flores collaboration and Pitiman himself. All of them singing different songs and providing their personal touch.

In addition to this, this album also counts on Willy Granados, Nando and Iñigo Arrieta, Carlos "Carlos Roots", Oscar Montesinos or Gustavo Salvador collaboration among others. The result, an album with a surrounding and updated sound, tracks at most pure reggae roots style and catchy melodies.
